Directors: Rabbi Adi and Malky Goodman

Rabbi Adi and Malky Goodman are the dedicated Co-Directors of Chabad at Monterra, a vibrant community hub they have collaboratively built and nurtured.

Rabbi Adi Goodman, a visionary leader and compassionate educator, founded Chabad at Monterra and has been serving the Cooper City Jewish community since 2001. Born in Baltimore, MD, Rabbi Adi received his rabbinical ordination in 2004 from the West Coast Rabbinical Seminary in Los Angeles, CA. With a profound passion for teaching and community building, he has inspired thousands through Chabad programs and South Florida's Jewish educational institutions, instilling a deep sense of pride and love for Judaism. Rabbi Adi possesses an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of their background or affiliation, fostering an inclusive, supportive, and vibrant community. His unique blend of spirituality and humor, exemplified by his local comedy, brings laughter and joy to all. His unwavering commitment, personal connections, and boundless love for the community ensure that Chabad at Monterra is a place where everyone can truly feel at home.

Rebbetzin Malky Goodman has served as Co-Director of Chabad at Monterra since 2005, a shining example of dedication, compassion, and leadership. A graduate of the prestigious Chabad Seminary in Toronto, Ontario, Malky has established herself as a pillar of strength and kindness, selflessly serving the local community with unwavering love and devotion. Her door is always open, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all, especially for students at the Heber School, who cherish her personal connections and warm smiles. Malky's unique gift for working with children with special needs has made her a beloved figure, providing comfort and inclusivity. Her exceptional multitasking abilities and creativity are instrumental in Chabad's success, bringing an extra spark to every program and event. Her tireless efforts in preparing Shabbat packages and fostering one-on-one connections have touched countless lives. In addition to her role as Rebbetzin, Malky is a skilled Shaitel Macher (wig stylist), empowering women to feel beautiful inside and out. Her remarkable blend of compassion, creativity, and dedication makes her an inspiration to all who know her.

Together, Rabbi Adi and Malky Goodman embody the heart and soul of Chabad at Monterra, working in tandem to create a welcoming, inspiring, and supportive community for all.

 

 

Youth Directors: Rabbi Aharon and Elky Spielman

Meet Rabbi Aharon and Elky Spielman, the dynamic duo behind Chabad at Monterra's Youth Services. With their unwavering dedication and contagious enthusiasm, they have become the heart and soul of the community.

Rabbi Aharon Spielman, a compassionate spiritual leader, has been serving the Monterra community for over a year. His warm and approachable nature makes him a beloved figure among congregants, who seek his guidance and wisdom. Rabbi Aharon's deep knowledge of Jewish tradition and his ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds have made him an invaluable asset to Chabad at Monterra.

Elky Spielman, Rabbi Aharon's devoted wife, is the driving force behind the scenes. As the Program Director, she tirelessly works to create engaging and meaningful experiences for the community. Elky's creativity and organizational skills have led to the development of innovative programs such as the Bat Mitzvah Club, inspiring educational initiatives, and vibrant holiday celebrations that bring the community together.

Together, Rabbi Aharon and Elky form an extraordinary team, dedicated to fostering a warm and inclusive environment at Chabad at Monterra. Their passion for Jewish outreach and their commitment to nurturing Jewish identity in individuals of all ages have touched the lives of countless people in the community.
