Policies for kids program:
We are thrilled to offer an exciting and meaningful experience for your children, enabling all parents to enjoy the High Holiday services with a clear state of mind. In order to ensure that everything runs smoothly and successfully, we have implemented some policies on behalf of Chabad, the JCC, and security. These policies are in place to create a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. We appreciate your cooperation in upholding the following policies and procedures, and look forward to a wonderful and successful High Holiday season together:
1) Safety is our #1 concern and priority!
2) All adults and children must register online (jewishmonterra.com).
3) The cost of the Youth Zone program is $50 per child for non-members
(Chabad Annual Members receive complimentary admission).
4) Babysitting rooms are available for children ages 0-3 only.
5) Children ages 4 and up must attend the Youth Zone program.
6) Parents should drop off their children at the registration table upon arrival.
7) Children must wear name tags (which will be provided upon arrival).
8) Parents will not be permitted in the Youth Zone area.
9) Children must be in their designated group and in their designated room at all times.
10) Staff will bring the children to their parents at designated times (times: TBD).
11) Parents or guardians must accompany their children at all times (when they are not in the Youth Zone). Children will not be allowed to roam the halls unaccompanied.
12) A child is either with the parent at Services or participating in the Youth Zone program rooms.
13) Parents may pick up their child at the registration table.
14) High School teens may volunteer for the Youth Zone program, but they must complete the Volunteer Registration Form on the website.
15) Volunteers must agree to attend “Training Meetings” before the High Holiday services (details TBD).
16) Volunteer hours will be “signed off” after the holidays.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and for ensuring you and your children follow the policies above, which will result in a successful High Holiday season for all!
Wishing you a Shana Tova Umetuka!
